Dear Argyle Central School Community,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back from the holiday break and to wish you all a Happy New Year.

I’m writing to inform you of the current state of COVID-19 within the district.

Over the holiday break, four individuals in the district tested positive for COVID-19. None of these individuals were on campus over the holiday break so there is no risk of further exposure or additional quarantine. These individuals are currently quarantining and will be cleared by the Department of Health before returning to school.

Please note that the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information and we cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

Please feel free to contact the school at 518-638-8243 or email [email protected] with any questions. Specific questions regarding the quarantining process or regulations can be directed to  Washington County Public Health at (518) 747-7520.

Sincerely,

Michael Healey

Superintendent of Schools
