Class Officers and Student Council

Class officers will be elected at the end of the school year for the next school year. The class officers group will consist of a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. Notification of the results of the election should be sent to the principal as soon as possible. A definite timetable for holding class meetings has been established. The ninth period may also be used as an activity period as long as it is supervised. A definite schedule provides for planning in advance for activities and events to be covered in a more efficient manner.

In addition to regular class officers, each grade from seventh through twelfth elects student council representatives. The student council will meet at periodic intervals – advance notification will be given at least three days prior to the meetings. Meetings will be arranged by council officers subject to the approval of the student council advisor and the principal. Aside from other various duties, the student council is responsible for the approval/rejection of all fund raising activities for grades seven through twelve.
