ORGANIZATION OF DAY: Students should:

Report upon arrival at school with all texts, notes and necessary materials; be allowed a bathroom break, one each in the AM and PM; eat lunch during 5th period in the ALC room. Students who have satisfactorily completed all teacher assigned work, plus any skill building exercises assigned by the supervisor and maintained good behavior throughout the day, may be dismissed and leave the building at 2:31. (Suspended students may not participate in any after school activities).

THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE PERMITTED DURING ALC:

Gum  Food & beverages
Radios Talking
Locker Passes Feet placed on desks or chair

Arguing with the aide over administration of the above rules.

STUDENTS WILL:

Leave all personal items (handbags, gym bags) with the aide upon arrival in the room. Leave the opening and closing of windows to the discretion of the aide; work at assigned tasks diligently and efficiently.

PROCEDURES FOR SENDING WORK TO ALC:

An administrator will assign student(s) ALC for a certain amount of day.

Ø Teacher will be notified via mailbox, phone call, referral, or e-mail.

Ø The teacher will prepare an assignment for the days course work.

Ø The teacher will send assignments to the ALC room or hand deliver work to the ALC Aide, or an aide will be around to collect it.

**If the teacher does not send any work, the student will receive credit for the assigned days work.
